“MINI OLYMPIC GAMES” IN SLOVENIA
The organizers of international alpine skiing competitions, in cooperation with the International Ski Federation, National Ski Federations and local communities, have been organizing ski competitions for children from around the world for over 50 years.
This year, their next edition took place in Škofja Loka, Slovenia on 8-10 February 2019. Over 250 children aged 12-16 from over 30 countries competed in these spectacular competitions. However, competition is not the most important thing. The main goal is to motivate children to spend their free time actively.
Considering the participants from around the world, as well as their later results in World Cup competitions, the Pokal Loka event can be easily named as the "Mini Olympic Games".
Each year organizers faced with a technical problem - from year to year, less and less natural snow falls in the town of Škofja Loka. But this year Supersnow company took part in the organization of the competition, what resulted in excellent event organization. Company regional representative with the help of Supersnow snow gun dealt with the problem and the appropriate amount of good quality technical snow was produced.
