The Jizera Mountains are a mountain range in the Western Sudetes, located on the border between two countries - Poland and the Czech Republic. There are several ski resorts on both sides, including Tanvaldský Špičák - one of the largest and at the same time the most modern ski resorts in the Czech Republic.

Technical snowmaking at Tanvaldský Špičák is supported by the Supersnow company. Ski resort is equipped with first and second stage pumping stations, as well as snowmaking equipment, which includes both 900A and 700A automatic snow guns, as well as 900 MN manual snow gun. The snowmaking process is controlled by the modern Snowmatic system.
